Shown at Tate Liverpool in 2025, 'Sanduku' is the premise of 'Putulu Payer Fashion Show' project. An ongoing project research intended to be a hybrid performative installation combining textile (fashion) sculpture, light, sound, immersive video and photographic installation. This work will explore the Congolese concept of “Putulu Payer”, a multi-layered expression that evokes admiration, material acquisition, flattery and value.
